Ekerö municipality has 63 known
runestones!
Of these, 33 are OK,
24 are broken and
6 are missing.
Runestones are more than runic inscriptions…
Runestones are works of art and need colors to be
experienced.
Here, the runestones have been colored as when they were
new 1000 years ago. They have also been interpreted by
me as modern runecarver, which has led to new
discoveries and surprises.
Misspellings and broken links...
